Peace in the horizon
A big bird?
I've been feeling stuck lately and in need of a change. When I feel this way, I like to take the car and go to this piece of beach that I've been to quite some times now. Sometimes I get stuck in my own head and everything feels like a weight crushing from all sides, but looking at the line where the sky meets the water, hearing the sound of the waves and feeling the strong wind from the sea makes it all quite insignificant.
I went with Oliver this time, he really does love the sea. It was a cloudless, sunny winter day. Because I had work in the morning, we arrived in the late afternoon, but the sun still gave warmth. I think I've been to the beach more during the cold season than any other, that's why when I think of the sea I always think of it like this day and I connect it to the cold.
Right now, if someone where to ask me if I prefer the mountains or the sea, I think I'd have to answer the later.
